4th Sunday of every month — 8.00am to 1.00pm in Summer

8AM to 1PM

You'll find unique clothes and jewellery, toys, plants and garden furniture.  There is fresh produce and pantry items.  The gardeners will find fabulous indoor and outdoor plants, garden furniture and unique garden sculptures and ornaments.  Novelty items include Dungeons and Dragons merchandise, croc ornaments, toothpaste tablets and even rope - you'll be staggered by the variety!  We have beautiful woollen socks and slippers, and hand knitted jumpers to prepare for a cosy winter.  And our food court has delicious snacks from many different cuisines, and, of course, icecream and coffee.  Have a morning out with the family.   Well behaved dogs are very welcome, and we usually have a couple of stalls selling dog treats and merchandise - but do remember that there is no poo fairy, and please bring your bag and use it if necessary.

HOWITT PARK MARKET is a thriving, community market run by members of the Rotary Club of Bairnsdale Sunrise on the 4th Sunday of every month from 8:00am to 1:00pm (9:00am to 1:00pm in June, July and August).HOWITT PARK MARKET is one of East Gippsland's premier country markets and is renowned for its family-friendly atmosphere, with up to 150 stalls each month. You will find fresh local produce, arts, crafts, jewellery, plants, tools, furniture and more! You can visit your regular stallholders or try something new.
Relax and enjoy live music, hot food and great coffee in our food court.

Over half of our stallholders are regulars, and you can find them in the same spot each month.  But every market has new stallholders, so you never know what new treasures you'll find.

There are many things to keep the kids interested, and well-behaved dogs are very welcome.

All our donations from the February 2024 market will go to Relay for Life.  Sunrise Rotary has a team which participates in the relay each year, and the funds raised from the market, individual Rotarians and the RC of Bairnsdale Sunrise funds go to support the research into cancer, and to give help to those affected by cancer.  A great cause that is close to all our hearts.
Stallholder fees from the July 2023 market were used to purchase a defibrillator to be used if necessary at the market or elsewhere - let's hope it's never needed!

Howitt Park Market is a Smoke Free Zone.
