GORGEOUS GIPPSLAND GARDENS

There are 3 Gardens in this year’s Bairnsdale Rotary Sunrise, Gorgeous Gippsland Gardens. Two of them are in Bruthen and the third is in Sarsfield on the way to Bruthen. The gardens are really different. One has been developed from cuttings and plants donated from friends; a small quirky garden with interesting finds nestled into the space and is close to the productive garden in Bruthen. The Sarsfield garden is an acre, abounding in native and European plants. Sculptures are nestled in amongst the plants and pathways.
This year we have two free workshops running as part of the $20 ticket, one on Pruning and another on Permaculture.
The pruning workshop will be held at the productive Eden Galpin garden, in Bruthen at 11AM.
The Permaculture workshop will be at the Sarsfield hall at 1.00PM.
Sunrise Rotary are offering home made soup and rolls at the hall for $5. From 12 noon until 2 pm.
Tickets are $20 for all gardens and workshops or $10 for two gardens. Tickets can be purchased on line at

The weather over the last years seemed designed to promote plant growth and weeds, it’s a large garden and a lot of hours have gone into it to make it beautiful.

The garden is a treasure trove of unusual plants,  abundant plantings, rambling pathways and Sculptures which integrate into the landscape, it’s wonderful to visit our open garden gives everyone a chance to see it.    Soup and Rolls are being offered at the Sarsfield Hall 12-2pm $5
